Like a Hollywood, a Brazilian will remove all hair from the butt crack, buttocks and labia and will leave a groomed landing strip or triangle. Includes the belly line.

Finding the perfect wax
There are so many people and places offering intimate waxing. There's some absolutely amazing waxers out there, but unfortunately there's some not-so-great waxers out there too. Here's some easy tips to follow (and some red flags!) to find the best and ensure you have a comfortable, professional experience every time.
Have a little nosy at the general cleanliness of the salon or the room the waxer is using, it should be clean, including fresh couch roll, wiping down of the bed, clean wax pots, lots of anti-bac! and so on, this will give you an indication of how hygenic the wax and the waxer is.
An intimate waxing specilist should have a basic beauty/waxing qualification and then an advanced qualification in intimate waxing. That extra qualification means the waxer has been taught advanced techniques, college level just doesn't cut it! P.S, it's not rude to ask your waxer about their qualifications!
Aftercare is a huge part of your treatment. When should you be coming for your next appointment? What are the do's and don'ts? How do you look after those pesky ingrowings? You should leave your appointment fully confident you know what you're doing.
That gut feeling of being comfortable is not to be underestimated. A specialist will immediately make you feel at ease, talk you through the appointment and what's going to happen and any initial fear or embarrassment will fade away instantly at the hands of your waxer!
It's a certain type of person that LOVES intimate waxing and this is the person you want. You don't want a therapist that would much rather be doing lashes, you want someone that shouts about how much they love waxing! That person will much more likely put you at ease, be an efficient waxer and be more practiced at waxing regularly.
Only accept hot wax for sensitive areas. Strip wax is great and has it's purpose, but on your bikini, it's most likely going to leave you sticky, tender and potentially bruised. Hot wax is thicker in texture, applied with a spatula and removed by hand. It was invented for a superior wax, don't accept anything less!
Double dipping is the worst offence in the waxing world. Once a spatula has been dipped in the pot and applied to your body it should be immediately binned. If that spatula goes back in the pot, run for the hills! The number of bodies that spatula will have seen and the bacteria going back in that pot and sitting at a warm temperature doesn't bear thinking about!
An intimate waxing specialist will include your bum as part of their brazilian and hollywood services. That includes visible hair on your bum cheeks and inside your butt crack. Yes you have to get yourself into some funny positions, but remember, your waxer does this all day long. It's not weird to them and they'll make you feel as comfortable as possible
